UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who came to the event. Hope you were able to create some great pieces. A special thanks to Joey at Color Me Mine for designing the great TNT platters. The entire staff was great...they're all so artistic! I raised about $144 from sale proceeds at this event. Thanks for helping make that happen!!

Join Team in Training at Color Me Mine, the paint-your-own ceramics studio. Create a ceramic work of art to give to your mom on Mother's Day, create a custom piece as a graduation gift, or work on any other creative project. Bring your kids, your inner kid, and your creative spirit to have some fun while raising money to fight blood cancers! Or just come to enter the raffle or bid in the silent auction.

Silent Auction Rules & Procedures
BIDDING
How the bidding works – The auction will be held by e-mail, telephone and, of course, at the Color Me Mine studio. You do not need to be present to bid. To obtain an Auction Bid Form, Click Here. Unless you are submitting your bid by telephone, fill out a bid form for each item on which you wish to bid. PLEASE DO NOT SEND MONEY WITH YOUR BID. I will contact you at the end of the auction if you are a winner. You may submit payment at the time you pick up the item at Color Me Mine (or other pre-arranged pick-up location).
TO BID OUTSIDE THE STUDIO, RETURN YOUR COMPLETED BID FORM
You may return your bid in one of the following ways:
- Submit completed Bid Form by May 7, 2009
- Telephone Bid by May 7, 2009
- In person at the Color Me Mine studio on Apr 26 - May 3, 2009.
Email and Phone bids MUST be received by 9 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2009!
Your low bid will become the opening bid at 11 a.m., Sunday, April 26, 2009 when bidding will take place in person at the Studio.

ULTIMATE BID
To be absolutely sure of winning an item, you should submit an amount equal to or exceeding the “ultimate bid” prior to May 3. This is almost like the "Buy it Now" price on e-Bay. Auction will remain open (unless I receive the “ultimate bid”) for additional bidding (by phone, email or online) until the close of the Silent Auction at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7. The final highest bid does not have to equal or exceed the ultimate bid. The latter just determines when bidding closes.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
The names of winners will be posted on my website on May 8, 2009 by noon. Items may be paid for by credit card, personal check or with cash. You must pay for the item before claiming it.
You need not be present to win! If you are a winner, but you are not present at the studio, you will be notified by e-mail or telephone. We can make arrangements for you to pick-up the item.
The fair market “value” for the items in the Silent Auction have been set by the donors who receive credit up to the value listed. You are entitled to a tax deduction for the amount paid over and above the stated value of the item.
SILENT AUCTION PROCEDURES
Bidding Instructions: Please take note of the opening bid and the ultimate bid for each item. If you are e-mailing your bid, please make sure that you fill out an auction bid form for each item on which you wish to bid. Ultimate Bid: If you wish to be certain that you win an item, you may bid the “ultimate” bid listed for an item. If you are the first to do so, bidding stops and you are the winner. If multiple people place the "ultimate" bid and it can't be determined who placed it first, then a random drawing will be held to decide the winner.
Tax Deductibility: The amount that your bid exceeds the fair market value of the items you received will be considered a tax-deductible donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
All Bids Are Final: Submitting a high bid is a contract to purchase.
All Sales Are Final: There are no returns or exchanges.
If you are bidding in person at Color Me Mine, please arrange to take your winning items once the winners are announced. The studio will release the items to the winners who present a paid receipt at the time of their departure.
Payment Terms: Cash or personal checks, which are to be made out to "LLS".
